Christmas is eight weeks away. And if you're already thinking "I should probably get my hair done before the silly season" — yes, you should. Right now, actually.
Here's the reality. December at Stevie English Hair looks like this: a fully booked calendar, a waitlist, and a lot of people who left it too late sending very hopeful DMs asking if we have anything. We love you all, but we can't make time appear out of nowhere.
Why it books out so fast
We're a colour salon. The services we do — balayage, full lightening, colour corrections, toning — take time. A good colour appointment isn't a 45-minute in-and-out. It's a proper session, done right, and there are only so many of those we can fit in a week. Come November, every client in the book is trying to get in before Christmas. The column fills up fast and it stays full.
If you want to be sitting at Christmas lunch with fresh colour that you actually love — hair that photographs well, catches the light, makes you feel like yourself — you need to book in November at the latest. Ideally now.
What to book

Full balayage or lightening service — book 8+ weeks out, these are long appointments and they go first
Colour refresh or toner — a bit more flexibility, but still don't leave it to December
Trim and style — easier to get in, but they fill up too
