We're the 2026 AHIA Salon Team of the Year

AND WHAT A TEAM WE HAVE!

On Monday 29th June, at the ICC Sydney Ballroom, Stevie English Hair was named Salon Team of the Year at the ANZ Hair Industry Awards Creative 2026, presented by Schwarzkopf Professional.

Mel took to the stage to collect it, flanked by Zoe, Frank, John and Paulo — which felt right, because this was never a one-person award. This is the whole team, every day, every head of hair, every early morning and late finish, adding up to something the industry decided was worth recognising.

Salon Team of the Year isn't about one collection or one big shot. It's judged on the whole operation — the culture, the consistency, the standard you hold when no one's watching as much as when everyone is. So this one means a lot.

To the crew — this is yours as much as it is the salon's. Eighteen-plus years of building something in Glebe, and you're the reason it keeps getting better, not just older.

And to our product partners who back us every day and make the work possible — O&M, Ecoheads, and K18 — thank you. Standing on that stage, it's easy to forget how much of what we do depends on the people and products behind the chair, not just in front of it.
