About Stevie
Steve Corthine has been hairdressing for over 15 years. Born in Somerset, England, he moved to the bright lights of London and began his brilliant career. Steve trained under internationally renowned hairdresser and organic hair colouring pioneer Daniel Field.
He spent 8 years honing his craft in London, then stints in the USA and Asia before coming to Sydney where he quickly became head colourist at Antony Whittaker Salon. For 5 years, Steve was manager and head colourist at Barney Martin Hairdressing in Surry Hills. Steve is an educator for O&M and has done the same in the past for Wella and L’Oreal. He has a reputation for creating beautiful hair colour both on clients and in photographic and fashion shoots.
Steve’s work can be seen in Marie Claire and Oyster magazines, in various hairdressing publications, and he works on fashion shows and events all over Australia.
